Tribute

Valerie Anne Moser
I can still see your smile,
little girl,
a smile that lights up the room,
and a face wrapped in dark,
flowing curls.
I can still hear your laugh.
As you walked past,
Leading the way
On a normal day.
I can still feel your absence
As we talk of your presence.
Once here.
No longer on this earth,
For you were built for something else —-from birth.
It is OK, Dear,
That you are not here,
For I believe you are more complete, more radiant, more beautiful than ever
as you dance on the streets that are golden.
Seeing Jesus’ face, complete, robed in grace.
And that you are living out what you were created for —- even in my womb.
To this I attest, And I am at rest.
With love for you I write, this night.
